Do not get into a car with someone you don’t know.
Do not wear headphones as you can’t hear people or cars approaching.
Do not carry a weapon. You might get hurt or be arrested.
Have a plan of what you will do if something goes wrong and you need help.
Let your friend or family member know when you have safely arrived at your destination.
