Do not keep large amounts of money in your home.
Keep your doors locked at all times.
When going out at night, shut your
curtains and leave a light on so people
think someone is at home.
Check who is at the door before you open the door.
Open door with chain on before opening fully.
If you do not know the person at the door, ask to see their ID card.
Do not let strangers into your house when you are on your own. Ask them to come back when a friend or family member is with you.
If a stranger asks you to sign a form, say NO.
If anybody scares you dial 999 and ask
for the Police.
